An environmentally-friendly system devised by hoard-it is helping companies reduce their carbon footprint by putting an end to the need to bin perimeter hoarding.
Together with leading UK wide developer, Kier, it has been introducing its hoard-it systems across the country. And supermarket Sainsbury’s has been one of the first to snap up this new solution by re-using its hoard-it system at seven of its newest stores so far.
The revolutionary re-usable hoarding has been utilised by the leading supermarket chain during the development of new sites. The hoard-it system, which is designed with corporate branding and advertising in mind, can be printed with any image and branded before installation.
This allows companies to promote their products and services and raise awareness of the developments taking place behind the boards. It can even be used to bring in advertising revenue.
Stewart Quinn, Operations Director, explained: “We produce bespoke hoarding systems that are environmentally friendly and can be re-used or recycled at the end of each project. Most traditional systems go to landfill after the project has finished.
“Our system lasts for years and can be re-used. It saves time and also reduces the physical costs associated with installation. The system is seated on the ground so that there is no need to dig into the ground. Concrete upright posts and steel base plates hold the panels securely in place throughout the duration of the project and can be re-arranged to accommodate changes. At the end of the project the panels are easily removed and stored ready for re-use.”
The hoard-it system is built to last. All components used in the system are re-usable and so can be stored and used again by clients or refurbished for similar projects. It not only leads to long-term cost savings but also offers the ultimate in eco-friendly development.
