hoard-it is first choice for supermarket chain

As supermarket chain Sainsbury’s prepares to open its new store in Trowbridge, hoard-it has dismantled the remainder of their hoarding boards on this flagship project.

From start to finish, hoard-it has been constantly protecting the public from construction work on the new store.

This project was hoard-it’s flag ship project utilising their innovative foto-ply hoarding boards. Sainsbury’s used the boards to promote the new store opening through branded photo quality images and corporate slogans as a way to inform the public about the new store and to advertise store features and products.

Supplying in excess of 200 linear metres of hoarding, the hoard-it team were responsible for the overall installation at the start of the project and dismantle of the boards once the project was nearing completion. A time lapsed video of the installation can be seen in the media library.

Main Contractor Kier Western, selected hoard-it as the preferred hoarding supplier due to the ease and simplicity of the system. With no need to dig excavations the installation of the hoard-it system was quick and caused little disruption to the local infrastructure.

hoard-it General Manager, Stewart Quinn said “To be involved in such a high profile project has been a great opportunity for hoard-it. The feedback we have received about our foto-ply boards has been very positive and the boards from this project are to be used again on two other sites demonstrating how reusable the boards actually are.”

Sainsbury’s will be opening its door to shoppers any time soon!
